Stainless Steel Intake Doors: 1 1/2 hour "B" temperature rise - 30 minutes -650 degree max.

Intake doors are self-closing, positive latching. Fabricated of polished stainless steel front and aluminized steel backs. Steel angle frame with 3-1/2" steel extensions. Integral polished stainless steel trim with top side embossed designating the use of the chute, in English and Braille. Pivot type hinge welded to the door frame. Door equipped with chrome plated key locking "T" handle latching assembly, fire rated locking (with two keys).

Discharge Fire Rated Doors: Same UL Rated type construction specifications as intake doors above.
"H" type 2430 Outlet (24: Diameter Chutes) 24 1/4"w x 24 1/4"h
Sliding Outlet Doors: (Not fire rated) 16 GA Aluminized Steel construction, with 2" x 2" x 1/4" angle frame, spring loaded. Held open by a 165 degree U.L. fusible link.
"S" Type 24 Standard outlet for 24" diameter chutes.
"SB" Type 24 "B" construction outlet for 24" diameter chutes. Note: Underwriters Laboratories do not offer a test/label for horizontal chute type doors, we manufacture the "SB" under the fire rated design requirements as the intake door panels.
Optional Accessories:
"ADSU": Disinfectant-sanitizer/access door unit can be added to the flush head at the top floor to periodically clean the chute with the proper solution.
Sound Insulation: Factory spray coated with sound dampening material and floor frame isolators.
Thru the Wall Door/Sleeve: to offer service away from the chute shaft.
Rubber or Steel Back Draft Baffles: To minimize the backdrafting out of the chute door.
